Our puppy visitor

Today Laila came back to visit us. We were amazed at how much she has grown in the 6 weeks since we last saw her and her sister and brothers. We all enjoyed having a little pat and Laila seemed to love us too.

Science

We are learning about systems this term and each week we are doing a scientific experiment to match the system we are studying.  In Week 1 we learned about our respiratory system and we did an experiment to show how burning fossil fuels creates smog. In Week 2 we investigated light and how light can show colours. We also went to Expressions in Upper Hutt to see an exhibition about Space. There were amazing photos from huge telescopes in Space, that showed  stars and planets forming.
